The fight against opioid and other drug abuse is the struggle of our time. We must bring every tool at our disposal to tackle it with full force, not just legislation, but we must better allocate funds and resources as well. This is a crisis that is always personal, deeply impactful to families, and touches everyone in our towns. I’ve felt it, as have too many of my friends and neighbors. What we need, and what I’ll bring as your County Legislator, is a stronger coalition based approach, bringing all levels of government to the same table to combat this crisis.
When the unexpected happens we all have t rely on help. It's why a critical aspect of government is to provide emergency services...
I am here to represent, not to complain, confront, accuse, or grieve. I am here for the the ideals of citizenship and responsibility,..
I have worked hard to address the needs of Philipstown...

Our towns need an honest voice, a problem solver, someone who can connect to the community and build consensus. You know me, I have always had my community's interests at heart. And we need that in our country and our county now more than ever.
What our towns receive from our County government should include tax sharing, fairness, and basic transparency. Instead we get wasteful subsidies for some resources like a golf course and woeful under-investing in critical areas like emergency preparedness/response or growth areas like tourism.
I will be a tireless voice for the towns in seeing tax and resource fairness.
Philipstown and Putnam Valley have long been left out of their share of county services - for seniors, for our young people, for ALL. I will work hard to change that. I will continue to push hard to hold the MTA accountable for safety improvements. And I will bring Philiptown’s successful model for substance abuse prevention and treatment - the Communities That Care Coalition - to the County level.
