I am here to represent, not to complain, confront, accuse, or grieve. I am here for the the ideals of citizenship and responsibility, the twin backbones of our representative democracy. I know, with my colleagues from all parties, we can do this locally, where personal effort counts and we can all expect results.
My hope is to engage both the public and all levels of local leadership in addressing our shared concerns. I want to find the middle ground, where we can address each other without rancor and with respect, without assumptions but with recognition of our common experience.
